Look at your music playlist or your CD collection, wherever you keep your music. Find something you play a lot. Use that as a jumping off point for a story or poem.

When you add your writing in the comments, also tell us what song inspired your writing.

Discussion

Do you write in front of the tv, or listening to music, or do you like silence?

I do all of the above. I can write anywhere in the house. Background noise is fine.

You can write your responses to the Prompt or the Discussion or both in the comments, or on your own website and post a link to the post in the comments. If you need a website, you can get a free WordPress site here. (If you use this referral link to set up a WordPress account, you and I will both receive WordPress credit.)
