Happy Easter

A photo of a basket of Easter eggs with the text: Happy Easter.

Happy Easter dear readers.

For Christians today is the most important day of the year, being the day we recall Jesus’ resurrection. For both Christians and non-Christians here in Australia, it’s also a day we tend to spend time with family and exchange Easter eggs.

Typically Easter eggs are egg-shaped chocolate. Sometimes they’re rabbit-shaped or bilby-shaped chocolates. Oh, if you haven’t read my story about the Easter Bilby and the Easter Bunny, you can find it here.

My daughter, who is into gaming, has told me about another kind of “Easter egg”. It’s a thing you find in a game, just by being in the right place at the right time. It’s not essential to the story, but an “extra” that not everyone finds.

So in that sense, since you are here right now, I have an “Easter egg” for you. It’s a free download (PDF version) of my book Poetic Pets. (Or you can read the whole book here and now.)

Happy Easter (or Passover or Ramadan, or whatever else you might be celebrating) everyone!
